Humor shifts your perspective, allowing you to see situations in a more realistic, less threatening light. A humorous perspective creates psychological distance, which can help you avoid feeling overwhelmed and reduce your stress.

    Practice finding the humor in everything. Laughter is feeling deeply which allows us to live fully.

    Laughter makes you feel good, physically and mentally. And the good feeling that you get when you laugh remains with you even after the laughter subsides.

    Humor helps you keep a positive, optimistic outlook through all of life’s changing situations, both good and challenging. And really, couldn’t you use a little more joy and zest in your life?

    Discover what you think is funny and uplifting. Collect photos, cards, videos, TV shows, etc. that you know are guaranteed to make you laugh. Keep them close at hand.
